ASEAN House

ASEAN House is located in a quiet corner of the Salaya Campus and is an ideal place to study or rest. There are 51 air-conditioned double rooms, all with their own toilet and shower facilities, TV, refrigerator and telephone. Bed linen and towels are provided. Housekeeping and room maintenance are performed on a regular basis. There is also a laundry service or residents may wish to use the washing machines provided. There is a fully-equipped kitchen that residents can, upon request, use to prepare their own meals. Alternatively, residents may eat at one of the facilities on or outside the campus. There are many restaurants located near the campus that serve a wide variety of food.

ASEAN House has a comfortable dining room, and for relaxation there is a common room with a color television, VCR, and computers to access the Internet. A telephone is available for outgoing calls, and a receptionist is available to receive calls and take messages. Residents can keep small valuables in a safety deposit box. Large luggage can be left at ASEAN House on a limited basis. There is a 24-hour security service.

AIHD Library

The AIHD library is situated in the main building of the Institute. There are 8,700 books available, mainly about primary health care, medical and social research, society and health development. The library also has an up-to-date collection of journals, pamphlets and brochures. The AIHD Library also has an extensive collection of general and specialized information sources and services, including dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks and other materials. The AIHD library communicates with other libraries in the university by internal mail service.

AIHD Meetings and Conferences
The AIHD has, in addition, a fully-equipped auditorium with sound and projection systems. Assistance with displays can be requested from the Audio-Visual Office. There are also several meeting rooms that can be used by individuals or groups. Some of the rooms are equipped with microphones at each seat, and some have built-in recording equipment so that meeting precedings can taped. Audio-visual equipment is available
