On December 12-13, 2012, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University hosted a two-day International Conference, entitled “The First International Conference on Health Equity in Asia 2012”, under the theme “Reproductive Health / Disaster and Health Management to achieve MDGs”, which was held at Santika BSD Hotel, JI. Pahlawan Seribu, BSD City, Serpong, Indonesia in collaboration with the Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, with the support from the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, Ministry of Health, Indonesia, and World Health Organization.
During 17-19 September 2012, the Eval-Health consortium held a project meeting in Durban, South Africa, attended by Dr. Supattra Srivanichakorn, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University. This project is a joint research for Developing and Testing of New Methodologies to Monitor and Evaluate Health Related EU-Funded Interventions in Cooperation with Partner Countries, organized by the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency and the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University.
On October 5, 2012, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, headed by Associate Professor Dr. Boonyong Keiwkarnka, Senior Advisor, and Ms. Chawewan Sriburapapirom, Chief of Educational Affairs Section, welcomed the delegates from Fukuoka Women’s University, Japan
On 10-14 June and 21-24 August 2012, ASEAN Institute for Health development collaborated with Taksin hospital conducted the training
on “Research Proposal Development”.
During July 28-August 7, 2012 the ASEAN Institute for Health Development conducted the short course training on 29th International Training program on “Integration of Health and Social Development: Thailand’s experience”. The program aims to highlight the relationship of health and social development in urban and rural area.
